The area has vast meadows, a forest, and a pure stream running through it.  Its plateau overlooks three famous mountains--Kuju, Aso, and Sobo--which spread beneath in a vast panorama.  Ubuyama Mura is famous for its majestic scenery and clean mountain air and even in summertime temperatures rarely exceed 30 degrees C.
